Upon arrival, you will recognize that we give individualized, caring attention to our patients and their families.   You will receive a warm welcome from our staff and will appreciate the comfortable, homelike atmosphere in our office.   Children of all ages can enjoy our KidzPace touch screen video game.   We will be happy to take you on a tour of our office, assuring that this is where you can be comfortable as a patient.  

At the new patient examination, a set of digital photos and a panoramic radiograph will be taken for diagnostic purposes.     Dr. Skelton will examine your teeth and report his findings to our treatment coordinator.  A large screen monitor is used to display your radiographs and photos so that Dr. Skelton can clearly relate his findings to you, making it easy to understand.

Our treatment coordinator will present treatment fees and work with you to accommodate a down payment and monthly payment that you can be comfortable with.  We will also be happy to work with your insurance plan as a courtesy to our patients. Rest assured that our office has no 'hidden' fees.  We do not include interest or finance charges in our payment plans.  In other words, the treatment fee which is presented to you includes placement of the orthodontic appliances, your orthodontic adjustments at regular intervals, your first set of retainers, and one year of retention observation.  Only under special circumstances will your treatment cost any more than the original quote; and, certainly, we would discuss that with you in advance. X-rays taken to evaluate the position of wisdom teeth, and replacement retainers in the event of loss or breakage would incur an additional charge.   

Should you decide that a 'Signature Smile' is for you, a separate appointment will complete your diagnostic records.  One week later, an appointment will be scheduled for your braces to be placed.  Dr. Skelton will explain the procedures step-by-step and he and his staff will explain how to care for your braces.  Adjustments of your braces at regular intervals will keep your treatment progressing and you will have a dazzling smile when your treatment is complete.
