This office is fantastic. Such caring, lovely people. Dr. Skelton is a great ortho, who actually cares about his patients. I have received cards and calls, checking in on my son, who has been seeing Dr. Skelton for just over a year. I have NEVER had a Dr. or healthcare professional take the time to do something like that. They are helpful, courteous and just really good people. I would recommend Skelton Orthodontics to anyone needing awesome ortho care.

There seems to be an overabundance of orthodontists in the city of Colorado Springs but it’s tough to find one who delivers top quality treatment at a reasonable price. 

Dr. Thomas Skelton and his fine team do exactly that! 

 

When my teenage daughter finally needed her “dreaded braces” at the end of 2007, my family began the search for the right doctor—it wouldn’t be an easy one. I soon realized that the visits to numerous orthodontists compared more to visiting used car dealerships than medical professionals.  The various treatment suggestions ran the whole spectrum—from complex dental surgery to a combination of surgery and braces.  Several doctors offered designer braces in multiple colors and styles like fashion jewelry, while others tried to impress with Disneyland-style office decorations and multi-media entertainment in the waiting rooms. But none impressed us with the right explanations and treatment techniques to correct our daughter’s dental problems within a reasonable timeframe.   

 

Frustrated with the search results, I hit the internet and surprisingly enough, found Dr. Skelton’s office right under our nose, close to where we live.  

 

Dr. Skelton and his team made no promises but did a thorough examination and presented a no-nonsense treatment plan that was clearly understandable for my daughter and this former military officer.  There were no false promises or premature oral surgery suggestions.  The cost for the treatment was reasonable and didn’t include so-called “free” electrical tooth brushes that are later added to the customer’s treatment cost. 

 

It is now February 2008 and my daughter’s teeth are beginning to realign just as Dr. Skelton had projected in his treatment plan. Teresa and Eve, the kindly, caring support team, stay in constant touch with their teenage patient and never fail to bolster her morale as she progresses through the different and sometimes a bit challenging stages of mechanical adjustments to the braces. My daughter trusts the “Doc” and the team and she is never fearful of the next visit to her orthodontist.    

 

As an informed consumer and caring father, I can only recommend Dr. Skelton and his outstanding team for any family in need of high-quality orthodontic treatment and at a fair price.
